But you can also post your own questions. To post questions, go to https://goo.gl/forms/E1oMiX8yw2FV7whG2
This web application shows your New York City Property Tax history and the change in market value, assessed value and the assessment ratio. Each of these values are dictated by our 1980's law. When the change by our New York City Department of Finance varies from the law it is highlighted. The variation maybe caused by repairs or changes to your property.

What is Market Value?

This is the amount that NYC Department of Finance believes your house will sell for approximately.

If you want, daily updates of this public information you will have to pay $172,270.00

So if you want all the public data including document images and digital "meta" data for a year for all locations it would be $172,270.00

See https://a836-acris.nyc.gov/CP/CoverPage/login/?hid_loginSource=EDS to login and order the data

But the https://cityregister.firebaseapp.com/ link gives you the digital data but it is delayed by 1 to 30 days plus about a week (NYC DOF upload delay) for much lower cost.

One question, why is the NYC DOF upload process not run every day? It appears it would cost very little since the update process already exists.

From the New York City "Gifted and Talented" K-3 Program handbook for students born in 2011, you will see a list of schools with "gifted and talented" programs. source: http://schools.nyc.gov/NR/rdonlyres/B396FF34-0BC9-4100-B854-10BF1FEBDFC6/0/2016GTHandbookforStudentsBornin2011.pdf

Let's see the density of these schools by district.

See Link to Map

It appears that Brooklyn has less schools with "gifted and talented" for K-3 per district but it also appears that Brooklyn has smaller districts. This may be a result of higher population in Brooklyn. But Queens is very close to Brooklyn in population and still appears to have larger school districts.

Even Park Slope District 15 schools shows as only 3 schools with "gifted and talented" programs for K-3.
Why would I do that, you ask? Well, listen to this: https://youtu.be/vtOK3fDJ36c?t=59m29s
Also one note for New York State Residents, you cannot watch your circuit court argument. Nor can you listen to your circuit court oral argument. Unlike most court of appeals the second circuit has decided to publish nothing regarding oral argument. Please urge your representatives and friends to move for transparency of our courts.
Have you ever watched our New York State Legislature in action? We highly recommend it. See http://assembly.state.ny.us/av/session/ and http://www.nysenate.gov/video_archives .

One thing that you might notice is neither seem to support a HTTPS secure connection. It seems odd that many of our important government sites do not support basic security.

You will be happy to know that our White House does support HTTPS TLS connection.

Good to see that Amsterdam trusts our white house

You also might ask the question what does our New York State Legislature do? Well, see https://demo.redash.io/queries/311

According to the data at http://openleg-dev.nysenate.gov/bills?search=billType.resolution:true&searchPage=1&sort=status.actionDate:desc&isRefined (A wonderful site that is highly recommended) there are 26605 bills (which really means resolutions)

Also according to the data at http://openleg-dev.nysenate.gov/bills?search=billType.resolution:false&searchPage=1&sort=_score:desc,session:desc (A wonderful site that is still highly recommended) there are 70437 bills (which really means bills)

The total is 97043. See

http://openleg-dev.nysenate.gov/bills?search=&searchPage=1&sort=status.actionDate:desc

At this point your are probably asking what is the difference between a bill and a resolution. It appears that a resolution is a call for cheerleading. For example, "A resolution to praise mothers on Mothers Day" while a bill is something that can become law. It appears that Bills are signed while Resolutions are adopted.

So this leads to the question how many bills actually are signed by our governor.

Well, from the data that we have for 2009 to June 2015, here are the numbers.

This appears to mean that only 4.9% of bills become law. This may be a good thing when you read some of these bills.
